Tincture made by a process of hydro-ethanolic percolation, with a ratio of 1 part Codonopsis Root to 3 parts liquid. Liquid comprises of 75% water and 25% sugar beet derived ethanol. Codonopsis pilosula, also known as dang shen, codonopsis or poor man’s ginseng, is a perennial species of flowering plant in the bellflower family. It is native to Asia, where it grows in forests, meadows, and scrub.
